What we offer
Ballet
Is often considered the cornerstone of dance training, providing a foundational understanding of movement that benefits dancers in numerous styles. It emphasises precise technique, develops poise and posture, and significantly improves balance and coordination. These skills are transferable and highly valuable, making ballet a powerful base for pursuing other forms of dance.
Tap
Is a lively and engaging rhythmical style that's incredibly fun for dancers of all ages! It's a fantastic way to develop coordination, rhythm, and musicality while creating exciting percussive sounds. Tap encourages creativity and self-expression through its unique combination of dance and music.
Jazz
Is a fun and energetic style known for its sharp movements, isolations, and syncopated rhythms. You'll learn to express yourself through dynamic steps while building strength, flexibility, and coordination. Whether you're drawn to Broadway-style routines or the latest street styles, jazz dance offers something for everyone.
Acrobatic Arts
Is a class that teaches acrobatic movement in a safe and progressive manner, focusing on skills that can be seamlessly incorporated into dance routines. The curriculum includes comprehensive limbering exercises, fundamental tumbling techniques, and safe partnering skills, all designed to build strength, flexibility, and control.
Lyrical
Is a fluid and expressive style that seamlessly blends elements of ballet, jazz, modern, and even hints of acrobatics. Known for its storytelling qualities, lyrical emphasises connecting movement to the lyrics of the music, allowing dancers to develop their artistry, emotional expression, and ability to communicate narratives through dance.
Drama
Is a fun and exciting way to learn how to talk to others, it fosters essential communication skills, cultivates teamwork, and encourages imagination and creativity through activities such as improvisation, scene work, and character development.
